We accept all major debit/credit cards and PayPal. We unfortunately cannot accept checks or bank transfers.
How do you protect my privacy?
At Intermission Counseling your privacy and safety are always the first consideration. We go to great lengths to ensure that you and your data are always kept safe and confidential. Our technology is fully HIPAA compliant.
Can I use your services on my iPhone or iPad or an android?

You can use any computer capable of running a modern web browser, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

Can I use my insurance to pay for sessions?
My coaching sessions are not covered by insurances. For counseling, I am paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield. For all other insurance, I am an out-of-network provider, and am happy to provide a SuperBill each month for you to collect possible reimbursement benefits. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
How often should I do therapy?
I usually recommend that you log in once a week initially. It helps to develop rapport and allows me to further explore the depth of what is going on in your life and set goals. From there, we may re-assess session frequency, such as decreasing the session to every other week to eventually once a month for maintenance or to have accountability toward your goals. I’ll work on a plan that makes sense for you.
